Staveley Town Council

Leading the way to a Brighter Future

Staveley Town Council takes a central role in the life of the town, supporting and encouraging whenever possible residents and the many voluntary organisations and businesses in our community.

The Town Council works hard to make the voice of Staveley heard by higher authorities, at the same time insisting on the preservation of the character of the town and the Town Council.

A Great town & place to develop your career & business.

Staveley is a dynamic and forward looking small town in North East Derbyshire. Historically a town with heavy industries – coal, steel, railway, chemical works – there is now a bright future thanks to recent investment.

Junction 29A of the M1 is close by as is the Enterprise Zone at Markham Vale bringing new jobs whilst new houses are in the pipeline. Staveley Town Council plays a central role in the life of the town, working tirelessly to improve the lives of the local inhabitants and to make Staveley a place to be proud to live and work.
